Spanimmersion is an agency created in England, in order to universally promote the teaching, study and use of Spanish and contribute to the dissemination of Hispanic cultures, while contributing and supporting the communities and local society of Guatemala.
Our teaching programs are based on the philosophy of immersion in the language, in time, place and person, and combining these factors, develop a greater capacity for absorption and assimilation of the language.
Our teaching school and faculty have been chosen based on aspects such as the accredited quality of teaching, the interest of the city where it is located and the option to help and support the development of the communities of Guatemala. The study school is located in Quetzaltenango, department of Xela, a city with a lot of interest, with a wide and varied cultural and leisure offer, which will make your stay an enriching and memorable experience.
At Spanimmersion we believe that learning a language cannot be based solely on theory classes and we are convinced that immersion in the culture and customs of the country where it is learned is essential. This is the reason why in our programs we have given so much importance to leisure and the relationship with the population, including volunteer programs in medical clinics and schools, cultural excursions, activities in nature, sports competitions, dance classes, night outings and many other options to create a complete immersion into the language.
We as an agency will help and guide you throughout the process, from buying your flight ticket, medical insurance, accommodation in the city and if you need it, we put you in contact with other students in case you do not want to travel alone. Within the city you will have an assigned tutor, who will help and guide you during this Spanish immersion experience.
